Regional Monitoring on Untung Jawa Island Intensified

The Seribu Islands Regency administration is intensifying monitoring and enforcing a curfew on Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands.

We continue to intensify it to reduce juvenile delinquency and take early precautions

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Sidartawan said this monitoring activity is by Bylaw Number 8/2007 on Public Order.

It was focused on points that often become crowds such as Jalan Bougenville and Arsa Park, RT 01/01 starting from 9 PM until finished.

"We continue to intensify it to reduce juvenile delinquency and take early precautions," he expressed, Tuesday (9/12).

According to him, it was very important to create public order and comfort for residents and tourists. Moreover, Untung Jawa Island is a tourist spot that is always busy with tourists.

"We didn't find any disturbances or incidents that stood out. Patrols ran smoothly and were conducive," he said.

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Satpol PP Head, Basahir added it was also a manifestation of the presence of three pillars as protectors, guardians, and servants of the residents.

"Not only at night, we also usually patrol from morning to noon," he stated.
